I owe you an apology
But there's been a reason (or, more accurately, several reasons) for the radio silence
I’ve been completely absent from here for the past couple of months. And in great, ADHD fashion, a lot of it comes down to doing far too much, all at once.
In January, I felt a very sudden urge to retreat, to hibernate, and to spend a lot more time in my own head, rather than outwardly expressing myself. It felt necessary to withdraw from the world and just…. be quiet.
And, honestly, I’d spent the whole year writing & thinking about my ADHD diagnosis… and I’d gotten kinda bored of it.
There were other things I wanted to write about, other projects I wanted to work on, and other priorities.
So, here’s a round up of what I’ve been doing -
Renovating the house, and writing about it here
Writing loads of the content & copy for monsguide’s website - where I get to share all my passion for the mountains (and the places I’ve lived across Europe over the years)
Researching, interviewing & studying for the book I’m currently working on (currently top secret, but I’ll be ready to say more in the next few weeks).
And finally -
Preparing my body for, and then having, the surgery to remove all the metal from my old, broken bones. Can confirm, the operation went really well, and I’ll be back on my feet in no time.
Hope you’re doing great, and I’ll be back soon, with some podcasting, blogging ADHD updates for you all.
Angie
